Let's rewind time and take a trip down memory lane.
It's 2002 and Roberto Guadagnini successfully partnered with his father, Alberto, to combine the old-world Italian dining experience with the new-world upscale-casual dining by opening a small Wine & Panini bar in the heart of West Chester, Pennsylvania.
With only 25 dinner seats, 12 barstools, a hardworking & humble head chef named Baba, and a passion for perfection- Teca was born.
Roberto set the groundwork by instilling exceptional customer service in every glass of wine poured, while Baba provided consistency through every plate served. Year after year, business continued to increase, and so did Roberto's passion to enhance the customer experience.
Through the purchase of the old firehouse in 2007, what was once a small Wine & Panini Bar transformed into a full-scale, contemporary Italian restaurant. The expansion brought to life the Club Mezzanine, which was once a NightClub and now hosts private party events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. With the increase in business, Roberto asked his most trusted partner, Baba, to assume the role of general manager. With Adrian Manghisi later joining the team managing the Mezzanine, the three worked like brothers to make Teca a pillar of the community.
