Growing up in the suburbs of Havertown, PA Roberto is the first generation of Italian parents. From the time he was born, he was fortunate enough to spend summers in the beach town of Lignano in the coastal region of Friuli, Italy. Roberto was raised in the restaurant business by spending his days closely with his father, Alberto. After attending St.Joseph’s and graduating with a food marketing degree he began his reign as the proprietor of Teca West Chester.
For the last decade, he has cultivated the original concept of Teca into what you see today. Roberto is now able to carry on that vision, with Teca Newtown Square. His tremendous passion for wine has earned him a reputation for developing one of the best wine lists in the area. Roberto welcomes and loves the opportunity to speak to any guest (in 3 different languages) about their dining experience, but he especially loves sharing his wine knowledge.
